Ambrose Says Not Her Fault: Blames Pollution on Libs

From CTV:

In her address to the UN climate change conference in Nairobi on Wednesday, Environment Minister Rona Ambrose blamed the previous Liberal government for leaving behind a mess in Canada.

Speaking of bringing partisan politics into an international forum...

For those who asked why the opposition parties were sending MPs over to Nairobi to "stalk" the Environment Minister, here's your answer. If Ambrose is going to lash out at the Libs rather than attempt a defense of the Tory Green Plan, there must be people on hand to refute her.

Although her hair looked quite nice (but, if I may say so, a bit Monica Lewinskyish).

funny that, it was only the Liberals and their buddy BQ'ers that sent stalkers to Africa.

The NDP declined to stalk.

Liberals + BQ in bed together . . . creepy.

We should be buying billions of dollars overseas and saving our Kyoto reputation, even if it ruins our reputation for common sense and makes us the biggest international mark of all time for falling for the UN CO2 for Cash ponzi scheme

C'mon now,

Putting the cart before the horse here, aren't we? The opposition decided to go to Nairobi before Rona trashed them. It doesn't make sense to claim that it was Rona's plan to trash the Liberals and that the Liberals were only going in self defence.

Olaf,

I don't mean to suggest that that's why they were sent over after her. Only that, in retrospect, it was a good idea.

Great idea. Rona Ambrose and "our" government's do-nothing Green Plan doesn't represent Canadians. And the fact that the our government's representative abroad was not professional enough to resist responding in such a crude partisan manner just shows how inept they are.

BCL,

Fair enough... but can we all admit that this kind of statement is beyond ridiculous?

Rona's only telling the truth. She's admitting the Conservatives can't do any better of a job than the Liberals - which is why Canadians should vote Green.

No, it's why Conservatives should vote Green. The Conservatives have betrayed their own "grass roots" supporters the most, after all.

Seriously, this rightiwng three-ring circus has to end soon.
